Day 1 Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Fort William, The "Road to the Isles" via Glenfinnan, Arisaig, the sands of Morar and the fishing village of Mallaig. Ferry across the Sound of Sleat to Armadale, Isle of Skye and via Broadford to the hotel amidst the Cuillin mountains
Day 2 To the island's capital Portree, then to Trotternish - the far north - with dramatic views across the Sound of Raasay - to the Kilt Rock, Staffin, Duntulm Castle and Uig for the ferry across The Minch to Tarbert, Isle of Harris (4 nights)
Day 3 A very leisurely day amongst the exhilarating scenery of Harris - over the hills of North Harris to the beaches of Husinish (with views across to Scarp) and to the formerly isolated settlement of Rhenigidale.
Day 4 Full day tour of South Harris, via the contrasting east and west coasts - one being a wilderness of rock and small lochs, the other sweeping green machair and yellow beaches. See Harris Tweed being woven in a crofter’s cottage. St Clements Church at Rodel (c1500).Some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in Britain. Kyles of Scalpay and Isle of Scalpay
Day 5 Through mountainous North Harris - a full day tour of Lewis, including Stornoway (the only town in the Outer Hebrides), Callanish Standing Stones (Neolithic Temple), Carloway Broch (ancient fortress tower), Ted's birthplace, Barvas Moor.
Day 6 Morning ferry to Uig, Isle of Skye, then via Kyle of Lochalsh, Kintail, Glengarry, the Great Glen, Fort William to Glasgow.
