Day 1     To the Trossachs and Loch Katrine and a cruise on the historic steamship SS "Sir Walter Scott", built 1900 in Dumbarton. Via Callander to Crianlarich, Rannoch Moor, Glencoe to Onich (3 nights).

 

Day 2     Corran Ferry across Loch Linnhe to Ardgour and exquisite Loch Sunart, whose shores we follow to Glenborrodale and the wild and rugged Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Kilchoan, Ardnamuchan Lighthouse (most westerly point of the British mainland). Overwhelmingly beautiful!

 

Day 3     Lochaber - northwards up The Great Glen to Achnacarry (Commando Museum), then following lonely Loch Arkaig to Murlaggan. The "Parallel Roads" of Glen Roy, the Caledonian Canal and Neptunes Staircase.

 

Day 4     South beside Loch Linnhe to Taynuilt and a cruise on exquisite Loch Etive towards the mountains of Glencoe. Via the Pass of Brander, Loch Awe to Inveraray, Rest-and be- Thankful, Loch Lomond to Glasgow.
